im-jesse-2

Hi, I’m Jesse Goldman, a Creative Director and motion designer with over 15 years of experience shaping stories for screens big and small. I’ve worked with entertainment and tech heavyweights like Netflix, Hulu, Apple, BuzzFeed, and Riot Games, and got my start designing on-air branding for South Park, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report at Comedy Central.

From leading global brand films at Apple to crafting promo campaigns at Netflix, my work blends storytelling with design that connects. I’ve worked across network TV, content studios, animation, non-profits, and I once designed a gag Christmas gift for Rian Johnson. Yes, I printed and framed the thank-you email.

Through it all, I’ve learned that great creative starts with understanding your audience. I bring a sense of humor, strategic thinking, and a deep love for pop culture to everything I do, always aiming to entertain, inform, and make something that sticks.

I also co-host The Moodboard with veteran comedian J.F. Harris, a video podcast that mixes design, culture, and comedy—kind of like The Daily Show, but for art directors with trust issues.

Podcast Appearances

I'm fortunate enough to have been invited on some podcasts to share my thoughts on design, work and living a creative life. Seeing as I'm a New York-born, elder-millennial with a Gen X-moon rising, I'm often lightly snarky with a hard PG-13 mouth on me. SFW if you got a chill workplace.
